# Denver Post vs Coloradoan

The clearest difference is rating: Denver Post at 4.5 against Coloradoan's 4.2. Denver Post also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). Coloradoan's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 23%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Denver Post sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Coloradoan sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Denver Post holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2.1K and 1.2K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of Denver Post's written reviews are positive against 33% of Coloradoan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
