# Electrical Calc vs Generac Field Pro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Electrical Calc at 89% against Generac Field Pro's 11%. Electrical Calc also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.0). Generac Field Pro's advantage is price (Free vs $19.99) and rating (3.1 vs 2.5). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Generac Field Pro is free to download; Electrical Calc costs $19.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Generac Field Pro holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Generac Field Pro has 26 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Electrical Calc's written reviews are positive against 11% of Generac Field Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Electrical Calc ships an update every 5 weeks, Generac Field Pro fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
