# A Real Mirror vs My Secret Folder™

The clearest difference is rating: A Real Mirror at 3.9 against My Secret Folder™'s 2.1. A Real Mirror also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10). My Secret Folder™'s advantage is review sentiment (44% vs 10%) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 26 months). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

A Real Mirror costs $4.99 and My Secret Folder™ $0.99 up front. My Secret Folder™ sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. A Real Mirror asks for nothing beyond the download.

A Real Mirror holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Secret Folder™ has 60 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of A Real Mirror's written reviews are positive against 44% of My Secret Folder™'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

A Real Mirror ships an update every 26 months, My Secret Folder™ every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
