# SimpleLists vs Easy Note 2

The clearest difference is price: Easy Note 2 at Free against SimpleLists's $0.99. Easy Note 2 also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 23 months) and ratings volume (35 vs 1). SimpleLists's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Easy Note 2 is free to download; SimpleLists costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SimpleLists holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Easy Note 2 has 35 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of SimpleLists's written reviews are positive against 79% of Easy Note 2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SimpleLists ships an update every 23 months, Easy Note 2 every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 22, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
