# Aare vs Splash°

The clearest difference is rating: Aare at 5.0 against Splash°'s 3.3. Aare also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). Splash°'s advantage is review sentiment (82% vs 60%) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Aare holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Aare's written reviews are positive against 82% of Splash°'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Aare ships an update every 14 months, Splash° every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
