# 8player vs SenPlayer

The clearest difference is rating: SenPlayer at 4.7 against 8player's 2.8. SenPlayer also leads on review sentiment (84% vs 43%) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 175). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 8player sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and SenPlayer sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
