# Field Agent vs Evolve

Field Agent and Evolve both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Evolve's written reviews are positive against 48% of Field Agent's. Evolve also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). Field Agent's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Field Agent sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Evolve asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Field Agent against 5.0 for Evolve. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Evolve has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
