# Material Estimator Calculator vs ECHO Command

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ECHO Command at 100% against Material Estimator Calculator's 41%. ECHO Command also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Material Estimator Calculator's advantage is ratings volume (3.1K vs 2) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Material Estimator Calculator sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. ECHO Command asks for nothing beyond the download.

Material Estimator Calculator holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Material Estimator Calculator has 3.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of Material Estimator Calculator's written reviews are positive against 100% of ECHO Command's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Material Estimator Calculator ships an update every 6 weeks, ECHO Command every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
