# Groovy Grader vs Planbook Mobile

Groovy Grader and Planbook Mobile both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 93% of Groovy Grader's written reviews are positive against 51% of Planbook Mobile's. Groovy Grader also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (49K vs 7.7K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Groovy Grader sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Planbook Mobile sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Groovy Grader against 4.8 for Planbook Mobile. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Groovy Grader has 49K ratings behind it against 7.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of Groovy Grader's written reviews are positive against 51% of Planbook Mobile's.
