# E vs Jazz

The clearest difference is update cadence: Jazz at every 2 weeks against E's every 3 months. Jazz also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. E sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Jazz sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

E ships an update every 3 months, Jazz every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
