# SuperShuttle vs YAV Connect

The clearest difference is monetization model: SuperShuttle at free against YAV Connect's free with in-app purchases. SuperShuttle also leads on ratings volume (8.3K vs 147) and review sentiment (85% vs 67%). YAV Connect's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YAV Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SuperShuttle has 8.3K ratings behind it against 147, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of SuperShuttle's written reviews are positive against 67% of YAV Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SuperShuttle ships an update every 4 months, YAV Connect monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
