# Dropophone vs BLEASS Monolit

The clearest difference is rating: BLEASS Monolit at 4.7 against Dropophone's 3.9. BLEASS Monolit also leads on update cadence (every 12 months vs every 67 months) and ratings volume (82 vs 12). Dropophone's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (8.3 vs 12.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BLEASS Monolit sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Dropophone asks for nothing beyond the download.

BLEASS Monolit holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BLEASS Monolit has 82 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Dropophone's written reviews are positive against 83% of BLEASS Monolit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
