# Apple Pick vs Games Filter

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Apple Pick at 75% against Games Filter's 0%. Apple Pick also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Games Filter's advantage is price (Free vs $0.99) and rating (2.1 vs 1.0). On in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Games Filter is free to download; Apple Pick costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Games Filter holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Games Filter has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Apple Pick's written reviews are positive against 0% of Games Filter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Apple Pick ships an update every 38 months, Games Filter every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
