# Göteborgs vs Svenska Dagbladet

Göteborgs and Svenska Dagbladet both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 50% of Göteborgs's written reviews are positive against 14% of Svenska Dagbladet's. Göteborgs also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Svenska Dagbladet's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Svenska Dagbladet holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 106 and 224 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Göteborgs's written reviews are positive against 14% of Svenska Dagbladet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Göteborgs ships an update every 5 weeks, Svenska Dagbladet every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
