# REVOLVE vs Shop with Friends

REVOLVE and Shop with Friends both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Shop with Friends's written reviews are positive against 63% of REVOLVE's. Shop with Friends also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). REVOLVE's advantage is ratings volume (145K vs 2). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for REVOLVE against 5.0 for Shop with Friends. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: REVOLVE has 145K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 63% of REVOLVE's written reviews are positive against 100% of Shop with Friends's.

REVOLVE ships an update every 2 weeks, Shop with Friends every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
