# EMD PTE vs Counties Work

The clearest difference is rating: EMD PTE at 4.7 against Counties Work's 4.1. EMD PTE also leads on ratings volume (121 vs 23) and device support (3 vs 1). Counties Work's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 90%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EMD PTE holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EMD PTE has 121 ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of EMD PTE's written reviews are positive against 100% of Counties Work's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EMD PTE ships an update every 8 months, Counties Work every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
