# TwisTouch vs Chroma

The clearest difference is rating: Chroma at 5.0 against TwisTouch's 4.4. Chroma also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). TwisTouch's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (92% vs 67%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chroma sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. TwisTouch asks for nothing beyond the download.

Chroma holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TwisTouch has 128 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of TwisTouch's written reviews are positive against 67% of Chroma's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TwisTouch ships an update every 3 weeks, Chroma every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
