# Baller Alert vs Sugarscape

The clearest difference is rating: Baller Alert at 4.3 against Sugarscape's 3.7. Baller Alert also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 3). Sugarscape's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 63%) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Baller Alert holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Baller Alert's written reviews are positive against 75% of Sugarscape's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
