# EduCalc Classic vs Educreations Whiteboard

The clearest difference is rating: Educreations Whiteboard at 4.8 against EduCalc Classic's 3.9. Educreations Whiteboard also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 303). EduCalc Classic's advantage is review sentiment (85% vs 76%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EduCalc Classic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Educreations Whiteboard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Educreations Whiteboard holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Educreations Whiteboard has 12K ratings behind it against 303, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of EduCalc Classic's written reviews are positive against 76% of Educreations Whiteboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EduCalc Classic ships an update every 6 weeks, Educreations Whiteboard monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
