# Topple! vs Spelling Queen Pangrams

The clearest difference is ads: Topple! at none against Spelling Queen Pangrams's shown. Topple! also leads on review sentiment (74% vs 45%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). Spelling Queen Pangrams's advantage is ratings volume (6.1K vs 27) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Topple! sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Spelling Queen Pangrams sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spelling Queen Pangrams holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spelling Queen Pangrams has 6.1K ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Topple!'s written reviews are positive against 45% of Spelling Queen Pangrams's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Topple! ships an update every 2 months, Spelling Queen Pangrams monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
