# Hearts vs Hearts +

The clearest difference is price: Hearts at Free against Hearts +'s $9.99. Hearts also leads on rating (4.7 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (3.9K vs 4). Hearts +'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). On review sentiment, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Hearts is free to download; Hearts + costs $9.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hearts holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hearts has 3.9K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Hearts's written reviews are positive against 65% of Hearts +'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Hearts ships an update every 2 months, Hearts + every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
