# Easy Paint II vs Drawing ▫

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Easy Paint II at 75% against Drawing ▫'s 24%. Easy Paint II also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Drawing ▫'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Easy Paint II sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Drawing ▫ sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drawing ▫ holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drawing ▫ has 15K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Easy Paint II's written reviews are positive against 24% of Drawing ▫'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Easy Paint II ships an update every 5 months, Drawing ▫ every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
