# Easy Paint II vs Flexblocks

The clearest difference is rating: Easy Paint II at 3.9 against Flexblocks's 1.0. Easy Paint II also leads on ratings volume (20 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Flexblocks's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 75%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Easy Paint II sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flexblocks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Easy Paint II holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Easy Paint II has 20 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Easy Paint II's written reviews are positive against 100% of Flexblocks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Easy Paint II ships an update every 5 months, Flexblocks every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on August 10, 2026 and June 7, 2026 respectively.
