# Easy Paint II vs Digital Planner

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Easy Paint II at 75% against Digital Planner's 21%. Easy Paint II also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). Digital Planner's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.9) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Easy Paint II sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Digital Planner sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Digital Planner holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digital Planner has 14K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Easy Paint II's written reviews are positive against 21% of Digital Planner's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Easy Paint II ships an update every 5 months, Digital Planner every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
