# Compass ⊘ vs Compass

Compass ⊘ and Compass both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 92% of Compass's written reviews are positive against 62% of Compass ⊘'s. Compass ⊘'s advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (6.3K vs 196). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Compass ⊘ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Compass sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Compass ⊘ against 4.7 for Compass. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Compass ⊘ has 6.3K ratings behind it against 196, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of Compass ⊘'s written reviews are positive against 92% of Compass's.

Compass ⊘ ships an update every 3 weeks, Compass every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
