# GPSTrack vs GridNav

The clearest difference is update cadence: GridNav at every 6 days against GPSTrack's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GPSTrack sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $12.99 per year and GridNav sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GPSTrack ships an update every 2 months, GridNav every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
