# Secure Web Browser vs CoSurf

The clearest difference is rating: CoSurf at 4.0 against Secure Web Browser's 3.5. CoSurf also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Secure Web Browser's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 33%) and ratings volume (8 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CoSurf holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Secure Web Browser's written reviews are positive against 33% of CoSurf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Secure Web Browser ships an update monthly, CoSurf every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
