# Sing Harmonies vs Harmony Helper

The clearest difference is price: Harmony Helper at Free against Sing Harmonies's $1.99. Harmony Helper also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and rating (3.9 vs 3.7). Sing Harmonies's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Harmony Helper is free to download; Sing Harmonies costs $1.99 up front. Sing Harmonies sells 14 one-off in-app purchases and Harmony Helper sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Harmony Helper holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Harmony Helper has 186 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Sing Harmonies's written reviews are positive against 49% of Harmony Helper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sing Harmonies ships an update every 6 months, Harmony Helper every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
