# MarketBook vs Mascus

The clearest difference is ratings volume: MarketBook at 195 against Mascus's 8. MarketBook also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.2 for MarketBook against 4.1 for Mascus. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MarketBook has 195 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 34% of MarketBook's written reviews are positive against 35% of Mascus's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
