# Light vs Torchlight ◎ Brightest LED

The clearest difference is rating: Torchlight ◎ Brightest LED at 4.6 against Light's 3.3. Light's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (93% vs 62%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Light sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Torchlight ◎ Brightest LED sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Torchlight ◎ Brightest LED holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3.7K and 4.1K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Light's written reviews are positive against 62% of Torchlight ◎ Brightest LED's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
