# Make Dice Lite vs Paint Love

The clearest difference is rating: Paint Love at 4.5 against Make Dice Lite's 3.4. Paint Love also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 49). Make Dice Lite's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Paint Love sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Make Dice Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Paint Love holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Paint Love has 1.1K ratings behind it against 49, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Make Dice Lite's written reviews are positive against 27% of Paint Love's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
