# Egnyte vs myTI

The clearest difference is update cadence: Egnyte at fortnightly against myTI's every 5 months. Egnyte also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 10). myTI's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 72%) and monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Egnyte holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Egnyte has 12K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Egnyte's written reviews are positive against 100% of myTI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Egnyte ships an update fortnightly, myTI every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
