# Egnyte vs MobileForce

The clearest difference is rating: Egnyte at 4.8 against MobileForce's 2.0. Egnyte also leads on review sentiment (72% vs 33%) and ratings volume (12K vs 5). MobileForce's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Egnyte holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Egnyte has 12K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 72% of Egnyte's written reviews are positive against 33% of MobileForce's.

Egnyte ships an update fortnightly, MobileForce every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
