# OCRegister vs AwareCA

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: AwareCA at none against OCRegister's 2. AwareCA also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (53% vs 19%). OCRegister's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 143). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OCRegister sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. AwareCA asks for nothing beyond the download.

OCRegister holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OCRegister has 1.2K ratings behind it against 143, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of OCRegister's written reviews are positive against 53% of AwareCA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OCRegister ships an update monthly, AwareCA weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
