# Remote Mouse Pro vs El Trackpad

The clearest difference is price: El Trackpad at Free against Remote Mouse Pro's $14.99. El Trackpad also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). Remote Mouse Pro's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (4.7K vs 39). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

El Trackpad is free to download; Remote Mouse Pro costs $14.99 up front. Remote Mouse Pro sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and El Trackpad sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Remote Mouse Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Remote Mouse Pro has 4.7K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two.
