# iDream vs Wagoneer

The clearest difference is rating: Wagoneer at 4.9 against iDream's 4.2. Wagoneer also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8) and ads (none vs shown). iDream's advantage is review sentiment (59% vs 31%) and iOS requirement (7.1 vs 14.0). On price, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iDream sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Wagoneer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Wagoneer holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wagoneer has 12K ratings behind it against 77, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of iDream's written reviews are positive against 31% of Wagoneer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iDream ships an update every 12 months, Wagoneer monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
