# DroneMobile vs Live Assist

The clearest difference is rating: DroneMobile at 4.8 against Live Assist's 3.5. DroneMobile also leads on ratings volume (28K vs 6). Live Assist's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DroneMobile holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DroneMobile has 28K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of DroneMobile's written reviews are positive against 40% of Live Assist's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
