# 24Reader 電子雜誌書 vs Pubu

The clearest difference is rating: Pubu at 4.4 against 24Reader 電子雜誌書's 3.0. Pubu also leads on ratings volume (201 vs 2). 24Reader 電子雜誌書's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 24Reader 電子雜誌書 sells 17 one-off in-app purchases and Pubu sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pubu holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pubu has 201 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 32% and 32% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
