# Wheely vs Soneva Jani

The clearest difference is monetization model: Soneva Jani at free against Wheely's paid. Soneva Jani also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). Wheely's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (2.6K vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Wheely against 5.0 for Soneva Jani. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wheely has 2.6K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wheely ships an update every 2 weeks, Soneva Jani every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
