# Wheely vs Alliance Rental

The clearest difference is ads: Wheely at none against Alliance Rental's shown. Wheely also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (2.6K vs 1). Alliance Rental's advantage is review sentiment (77% vs 68%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Wheely against 5.0 for Alliance Rental. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wheely has 2.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 68% of Wheely's written reviews are positive against 77% of Alliance Rental's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
