# Wheely vs Secur

The clearest difference is monetization model: Secur at free against Wheely's paid. Secur also leads on review sentiment (93% vs 68%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). Wheely's advantage is ratings volume (2.6K vs 26) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Wheely against 4.8 for Secur. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wheely has 2.6K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 68% of Wheely's written reviews are positive against 93% of Secur's.

Wheely ships an update every 2 weeks, Secur every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
