# Wheely vs BlackWolf 2.0

The clearest difference is monetization model: BlackWolf 2.0 at free against Wheely's paid. Wheely's advantage is ratings volume (2.5K vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Wheely against 5.0 for BlackWolf 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wheely has 2.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Wheely ships an update every 2 weeks, BlackWolf 2.0 every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
