# Trex vs Spider Solitaire・

The clearest difference is price: Spider Solitaire・ at Free against Trex's $2.99. Spider Solitaire・ also leads on rating (4.7 vs 3.2) and ratings volume (9.4K vs 123). Trex's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and chart position (#176 vs unranked). On review sentiment, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Spider Solitaire・ is free to download; Trex costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Spider Solitaire・ holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spider Solitaire・ has 9.4K ratings behind it against 123, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Trex's written reviews are positive against 54% of Spider Solitaire・'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Trex ships an update every 3 months, Spider Solitaire・ every 2 months. Both last shipped on September 29, 2026.
