# Trex vs 5absa

The clearest difference is price: 5absa at Free against Trex's $2.99. 5absa also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). Trex's advantage is ratings volume (123 vs 1) and chart position (#170 vs unranked). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

5absa is free to download; Trex costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

5absa holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trex has 123 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Trex ships an update every 3 months, 5absa every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and August 25, 2026 respectively.
