# VG vs VG eAvis

The clearest difference is monetization model: VG at free with in-app purchases against VG eAvis's subscription. VG also leads on ratings volume (501 vs 2) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 5 weeks). VG eAvis's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VG sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and VG eAvis sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VG holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VG has 501 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VG ships an update every 11 days, VG eAvis every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
