# Mind Mapping vs NIIMBOT

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mind Mapping at 76% against NIIMBOT's 49%. NIIMBOT's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (32K vs 1.3K). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mind Mapping sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.49 per month and NIIMBOT sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NIIMBOT holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NIIMBOT has 32K ratings behind it against 1.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Mind Mapping's written reviews are positive against 49% of NIIMBOT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mind Mapping ships an update every 4 weeks, NIIMBOT every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
