# Flashlight Ⓞ vs 1

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Flashlight Ⓞ at none against 1's 1. Flashlight Ⓞ also leads on ratings volume (31K vs 138) and chart position (#78 vs unranked). 1's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (5.0 vs 9.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 1 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Flashlight Ⓞ asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Flashlight Ⓞ against 4.4 for 1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flashlight Ⓞ has 31K ratings behind it against 138, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of Flashlight Ⓞ's written reviews are positive against 82% of 1's.

Flashlight Ⓞ ships an update every 3 months, 1 monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
