# VCU Mobile vs RMU Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: VCU Mobile at 2.7 against RMU Mobile's 2.3. VCU Mobile also leads on ratings volume (20 vs 4) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VCU Mobile holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VCU Mobile has 20 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of VCU Mobile's written reviews are positive against 57% of RMU Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
