# Shift Work Calendar Planner vs IC

The clearest difference is ads: IC at none against Shift Work Calendar Planner's shown. IC also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.7). Shift Work Calendar Planner's advantage is review sentiment (96% vs 68%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shift Work Calendar Planner sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.59 per month and IC sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IC holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shift Work Calendar Planner has 9.5K ratings behind it against 385, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 96% of Shift Work Calendar Planner's written reviews are positive against 68% of IC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Shift Work Calendar Planner ships an update fortnightly, IC every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
