# Shift Work Calendar | Schedule vs IC

The clearest difference is ads: IC at none against Shift Work Calendar | Schedule's shown. Shift Work Calendar | Schedule's advantage is review sentiment (96% vs 68%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shift Work Calendar | Schedule sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.59 per month and IC sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IC holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shift Work Calendar | Schedule has 9.6K ratings behind it against 397, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 96% of Shift Work Calendar | Schedule's written reviews are positive against 68% of IC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Shift Work Calendar | Schedule ships an update fortnightly, IC every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
